Taking a stance in song is nothing new. But The Blushes know exactly how to make you feel it. RADICAL smuggles its argument in a feminist punk shell and by the time you realize what hit you, you’re already nodding along.

And what they’re asking for isn’t even that complicated. Clean water. Paved streets. Free lunch for kids. Healthcare. Gun control. Basic stuff. Decent society stuff. The kind of thing that shouldn’t need a song written about it in 2026.

But here we are. And apparently that makes us radical.

That’s the part that gets me. They’re holding up a list — a totally reasonable, common sense list — and you dare to call it extreme.

Honestly? This song makes me want to grab the people who think any of this is extreme and shake them until something shifts. Not out of hate. Out of pure disbelief that we’re still having this conversation.

And then they close it out with I guess just give us all lobotomies / We don’t think dropping bombs will make us free. That’s pure punk. Truth without distortion on it.

So go shout your Ois. You’ve earned them.
